Controller
As Smooth As Possible s.r.o.Contact for privacy matters
hello@assmoothaspossible.comPersonal data we process when you use this Website
- Technical and security data from our hosting and WordPress installation (IP address, date and time of access, URL, referrer, browser and device information, basic error and security logs).
- Cookie and consent data recorded through our cookie banner, including your consent choices, a consent ID, time of consent and information about the device or browser used.
- Communication data that you send to us, for example when you use a contact form (Contact Form 7) or write to us by email. This may include your name, email address and the content of your message.
- Usage data generated by WordPress, our theme and essential plugins (for example Elementor and Montoya components) that is necessary to display pages, remember settings and keep the site stable.
- Data processed by third party services that are embedded on this Website, in particular Spotify audio players and web fonts provided by external providers such as Google. When such content loads, the provider receives your IP address and other technical information.
Contact forms and email
If you contact us by email or through a contact form, we process the data you provide in order to handle your request and any follow up. Messages submitted through Contact Form 7 are forwarded to our email inbox and are not published on the Website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering inquiries and, where your request relates to a contract or potential contract, the performance of that contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and Art. 6(1)(b)).
Spotify embeds
We embed audio content from Spotify on some pages. When you visit a page with an embedded Spotify player, Spotify receives your IP address and other technical data that is necessary to deliver the content and may set its own cookies. Spotify is operated by Spotify AB and its affiliated companies and acts as an independent controller for this processing. For details on how Spotify uses data, please refer to the privacy information provided by Spotify. If our cookie banner or your browser settings restrict third party content, Spotify will only be loaded after you allow it. In other cases we rely on our legitimate interest in presenting our releases and projects (Art. 6(1)(f)) or, where required, on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
Fonts and design assets
Our Website uses web fonts in order to display text consistently in all browsers. Depending on our technical setup, these fonts are either delivered directly from our server or loaded from the servers of the font provider (for example Google Fonts operated by Google Ireland Limited). When fonts are loaded from an external provider, your browser connects to its servers and the provider receives your IP address and technical information about your device. This is necessary for the correct display of the Website. Where fonts are loaded from an external provider, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in a uniform and efficient presentation of our online service (Art. 6(1)(f)). If we change the setup to local hosting of fonts, this section will be updated accordingly.
Cookies and consent management
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate this Website. Some cookies are technically necessary for the site to function. Others are used only with your consent, for example to display certain embedded media or remember your choices.
- Necessary cookies are required so that the Website, security functions and basic WordPress features work correctly. These cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interests in providing a secure and functional Website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Optional cookies and external services are used only after you have given consent through our cookie banner, for example for certain types of media embeds or extended player functions (Art. 6(1)(a)).
We use the plugin Real Cookie Banner to manage cookie consent. The plugin stores a record of your consent (for example an anonymised IP address, date and time, consent categories and technical data about your browser) so that we can prove compliance with legal requirements. These consent records are stored based on our legal obligation to document consent and our legitimate interest in being able to demonstrate it (Art. 6(1)(c) and Art. 6(1)(f)).
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by using the cookie settings link in the Website footer or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Analytics
We currently do not use separate web analytics or marketing tools such as Google Analytics or Meta pixels on this Website. If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before enabling such tools.
Why we process your data and legal bases
- To operate, secure and improve the Website, prevent abuse and diagnose technical issues (legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To display our content, including embedded Spotify players and fonts, and to present our artists and projects (legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f), and where required your consent, Art. 6(1)(a)).
- To handle your requests when you contact us and to perform or prepare contracts (Art. 6(1)(b) and Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To comply with legal obligations, for example retention duties and the documentation of consent (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Retention
- Server and security logs are kept only as long as necessary for security and troubleshooting, then are deleted or anonymised.
- Consent records from our cookie banner are stored for the duration required by applicable limitation periods and documentation duties.
- Emails and contact form messages are kept as long as needed to handle the conversation and any follow up, or as long as required by Czech accounting and commercial law if they form part of business records.
Recipients and processors
We share personal data only to the extent necessary with:
- our hosting provider and technical service providers who operate our servers and infrastructure,
- providers of tools we use to run this Website (for example WordPress, plugins and email services),
- third party content providers such as Spotify or font providers, when you load their content on our pages.
Where service providers process personal data on our behalf, this takes place on the basis of data processing agreements in line with Art. 28 GDPR. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Some of our service providers are located outside the European Union or the European Economic Area or belong to international groups of companies. This can apply in particular to providers of embedded content and fonts. If personal data is transferred to a country without an adequate level of protection, appropriate safeguards are used, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, or the transfer is based on your explicit consent. For information on how Spotify, Google or other third party providers handle international transfers, please refer to their respective privacy policies.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to request confirmation of whether we process your personal data and to obtain information about this data. You also have the right to request rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability in accordance with the legal requirements. Where processing is based on our legitimate interests, you may object to such processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.
